  If I am Baltimore, I am jumping all over the Jones/Clement/Sherril package. It's superior to the puu puu platter that Arizona got for the equally talented and much healthier Dan Haren.

  I'm usually in the camp of get the established player for prospects (see Pedro v. Pavano/Armas) and I still am here, but as an M's fan, it seems every combination I'm seeing for this deal has the Mariners giving up too much. I'm hoping for Jones/Clement/Sherrill. Bedard's too injury prone to give up much more.

    It really depends how you look at it. I think Jones/Clement/Sherrill is actually a superior offer to Jones/Morrow/Sherrill, but the Orioles don't need Clement as much as they need Morrow. I have been on both sides of the fence, but if a deal is imminent I wouldn't mind sending Jones and Morrow or even Triunfel. We'd still have a great young core.

  Baltimore's Organizational depth is at pitching... not position players, SO if I had to choose I would also take the Clement package. Worry about the depth at Catcher later... perhaps trade ramon after he gets off to a hot start and establishes some value, and maybe in a coulpe years Clement is a Fisrt Sacker.... and we are ASSUMING Weiters makes it... but (hopefully) a safe assumption
