The Event I Wish I Had Seen In Person: 1988 World Series, Game 1
Jack Buck's call on the radio said it best: "I don't believe what I just saw! Mighty Casey did NOT strike out!" No, he sure didn't. It's something I will tell my kids about, and hopefully they will do what I did the next day - play some wiffle ball, and trot around the bases doing Kirk Gibson's arm pump. That's what a sporting memory means to me...
