Career Astros star Bagwell has jersey retired
The Houston Astros retired Jeff Bagwell's jersey on Sunday, just before the game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bagwell played his entire 15 year career in the Majors with the Astros. He entered the league in 1991 and ended his career with 449 homeruns and a .297 average. Bagwell is the eighth former Astro to have his number retired.The others are Nolan Ryan, Mike Scott, Jimmy Wynn, Larry Dierker, Jose Cruz, Don Wilson and Jim Umbricht.
