    Cordero has always been hittable so it was bound to catch up with him. The problem with him is that he could start 2007 strong and finish poorly if he's traded to a division like the AL East. At his worst, Cordero can still get outs in the NL Central. That won't be the case in the AL East where every lineup from the leadoff hitter to the guy batting 9th can get on base.

    If he's healthy, Tom Gordon will be the most attractive guy on the market. He still has nasty stuff and has pitched effectively for Boston in the past.
