So when is it no longer too early to worry about someone, earlier this week Duaner Sanchez was let go for his ineffectiveness. Now I'm not saying it's time to start considering cutting Tim Redding but even I'm starting to get worried about him and I put very little credence in early spring training result, while also having very little expectations for the fifth starter. But Redding has been that bad; In his first outing he couldn't make it through an inning against a college team in which he allowed five runs and tonight he completed two innings but gave up nine runs on eight hits ( three homeruns) and one walk, raising his ERA to 40.50. I think I saw Tony Armas Jr. smiling as he completed his first scoreless inning of relief work as he hopes to climb his way up the ladder for the long reliever spot and it's pretty safe to say Livan Hernandez is becoming solidified as the fifth starter.
