The D-backs completed a deal to acquire right-handers Dan Haren and Connor Robertson from the A's in exchange for six prospects, it was announced Friday afternoon.In addition, the D-backs sent closer Jose Valverde to the Astros in exchange for infielder Chris Burke and right-handers Chad Qualls and Juan Gutierrez.

  • Crappy deal for the A's. They took a lot of B level prospects rather than one or two A level prospect. Gonzalez is well regarded but .286, 16 hr's and 75 rbi's over 458 at bats as a 21 yr old in AA ball is not elite.
