Dbacks Want Wells & Mulder

The best deals this offseason have been the risky ones. Why? Players coming off injury like Jose Guillen and Eric Gagne or aging vets like Greg Maddux only want one year deals so they can try to really cash in after the 2007 season. Sure they might not pan out, but at least the Dbacks won't be sucked in for $50 million over 4 years like other clubs have been. Not to mention, Wells and Mulder have a higher upside than guys like Batista, Lilly, and Marquis. This might be the way to go in this free agent madness.
