Carlos Quentin of the Chicago White Sox is off to another red hot start in 2009, and is proving what was obvious to all baseball observers last season: that Carlos Quentin is the most valuable player in the AL. Injuries cut his 2008 season short, and his chances to win the AL MVP. If Quentin can stay healthy for 162 games in 2009, he is showing that the award could very well be his this season, just as it would have been last year.
