  • I like what is said about League, but it''s hard to judge as the guy hasn't fully developed his potential. There is a steep learning curve in the MLB, and expectin a young guy to put up numbers that good, that young is a little absurd.

Quentin has the power to hit about 20 HRs, probably not much more, buit still projects out as a nice #5 hitter.
  • Thanks. I love Quentin myself and I think he'll have a good year in 2007. But fantasy owners are going to drive up the cost/draft position to point that he's worth skipping.
  • I'm not sure what Quentin's draft price should be. What makes Quentin a nice gamble is that he is extremely solid in all facets of the game and plays in a hitters ballpark. Those expecting him to be an all-star right off the bat are probably going to be disappointed, but he'll also come with much less risk than almost every other young hitter. He has incredible plate discipline, 127 BB to 127 K's over the last two seasons in the minors. Those two seasons also came at Triple-A which means he's already very experienced at the higher levels minor league baseball so his jump to the majors shouldn't come with a long period of transition.
