Drought Alert- Philadelphia Phillies
TEAMS: Philadelphia Phillies,  Boston Red Sox,  Atlanta Braves,  Florida Marlins,  St. Louis Cardinals,  Los Angeles Angels
PLAYERS: Ryan Howard,  Chase Utley,  Geoff Jenkins,  Ryan Howard
Phils have fallen on hard times since sweeping the Braves, 3-7 in the 10 games since the trip to Atlanta. It seems that almost the entire lineup and pitching staff are in a bit of a drought. They lost 2 out of 3 to the Marlins, Cardinals, and Red Sox over the last 3 series and didn't exactly start the Angels series off with a bang (lost 7-1 last night).     Tough stretch against some great teams. Their problem is falling behind early in games. At the start of the season they did this frequently and usually came back. Over time that crap catches up to you. Hope you heard the stat last night of the year Whitey won the batting title hitting .350 and had an 0-28 streak. No need to panic...we play our best ball after the break anyways.

    I'm not in a panic mode when it comes to Utley, but this recent string of crappy baseball cannot be simply swept under the carpet. The team as a whole is playing awful, that's the bottoml ine.

    And the drought continues- Ryan Howard now batting a douche-o-rific .216 with 2 more k's tonight....when exactly am I allowed to worry again?

    Brett Myers 3 more homeruns surrendered, now with 21 longballs allowed on the season...joke!

    Howard still has the most RBIs on the team though...the whole team is not hitting or pitching well at all

      Ryan Howard has the most RBIs on the team out of default. He bats cleanup with Rollins, Victorino, and Utley on base when he comes to bat, of course he's going to gather a butt-load RBIs. Just imagine how many RBIs he have if he'd only be batting around .250, my guess is around 80+, which is good for about 3-5 more wins on the season probably.
