Up Up and Away! Uber Prospect Justin Upton to the majors!

Byung-Hyun Kim returns to his old stomping grounds

The D-Backs didn't make any moves at the trade deadline, but have been busy picking up guys who have cleared waivers, they have decided to bring back former D-Back Byung-Hyun Kim, remember he was the closer back in 2001 when they won the world series over the Yankees.... Man those memories have to haunt D-back fans, but at least they won the series; if not I am not...

Elijah Dukes continues to be an idiot

This guy just can't keep out of trouble, looks like he made a phone call to his estranged wife, which violated the protection order... smart one there Elijah, must have just got done smoking up... "The Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office on Thursday charged beleaguered baseball player Elijah Dukes with a single count of violating a domestic violence injunction...

Boy Oh Boy. Adam Dunn sure does hate Thom Brennaman.

We didn't shed a tear when Thom Brennaman left town for his dad and Cincinnati. As a matter of fact we were happy to see him go. His style of broadcasting and talking down to the viewer bothered us and apparently we aren't alone. According to AOL FanHouse there is at least one family that doesn't like Thom or his father Marty and that family happens to be Adam Dunn's:

How Long Before Dusty Baker Ruins Johnny Cueto?

In case you missed it Thursday, Reds rookie Johnny Cueto was rather impressive making his major league debut. The 22-year-old was perfect through his first five innings before giving up a solo HR to Justin Upton in the 6th, the only base-runner he allowed all game. Cueto went seven innings of one-r...

Diamondbacks' week in review

Since last report, Arizona was outscored by the opposition more than two-to-one - a total of 30-14 - but still managed to post a winning record, taking three of the five games. Take that, run differential! Their streak of victories came to a nasty halt Sunday, but the team rebounded to take two of three in San Diego, and won the opener of the crucial series against the Dodgers in...

Diamondbacks Rout Rangers

Cross-Post from my blog. Drop by for a visit! Conor Jackson drove in six runs with a triple and a grand slam as the D'Backs beat the Rangers in a laugher, 9-3. Justin Upton and Chris Snyder also homered. Brandon Webb allowed two runs in three innings. Tony Pena pitched a scoreless inning. Eric Byrnes, batting lead-off and playing center field, opened...
