It's about damn time!!! now all we have to do is get rid of the browns staff, bring omar, manny, and thome back, maybe get sandy alomar and stop with this constant getting to the big show and epically failing. And for the love of God get rid of Shapiro, anyone that gets rid of victor for 3 prospects should be hung!!!
Why not go and get Belle while we are at it. Hang Shapiro for trading away a player? You will change your tune in a few years with Nick Hagadone is owning people.

is phil jackson an amazing coach? get rid of michael jordan and scottie pippen...would the bulls go anywhere? if kobe left the lakers? how is wedge supposed to be successful with grady sizemore and basically no one else? i hate when coaches are the scapegoat for a more fundamental problem with an organization. sometimes, there is a problem with a coach and his philosophy (i.e. the buffalo bills right now....decent talent but anemic offense due to playcalling), but not in this case.
Uh Phil Jackson, Scottie Pippen… What’s this have to do with anything? Maybe he should go coach the Blazers and trade for Jason Davis.
When they lose close to a hundred games next year, maybe we'll learn it wasn't Wedges fault. You can't polish a turd. And with a complete lack of intrest in keeping good players, let alone signing anyone worth a damn. Well the tribe is destined to be crap.

You guys are idiots,. The talent we had at the beginning of the year was more than enough to contend for a playoff spot. Sizemore, Derosa, Martinez, Cabrera, Choo. Our typical IL failure under Wedge and first half disaster is the reason why Shapiro traded what he did.

Has your coach ever made a difference in going 0-4 or 4-4 as a hitter, or leaving the ball up in the zone, to firing one for strike 3 as pitcher. NO!!!! Don't get me wrong, I think it was time to go, afterall, baseball is a business! But, give the guy a break, I can remember when 2 years ago when he won AL manager of the year, and he was loved by all tribe fans. Now, he's being ran out of town. I have a feeling he will be successfull wherever he goes next....Good luck E!

For two years, the excuses have been old. Regardless of whether or not Wedge was a good coach, he didn't produce playoff teams. You can only use so many excuses until the blame lands directly on you. We will miss you Wedge - but it was time for a change.

Thank you for everything. Eric won al manager of the year 2 years ago and led the Indians to a great year. I'm not happy to see him go, but we all have to move on eventually. It all wasn't his fault. We traded 2 Cy young award pitchers in two years, how stupid is that! Thank you for everything and best of luck to you in the future.
