Yankee reliever Kyle Farnsworth went on a Chicago radio station yesterday and voiced displeasure of Clemens' family clause. Today he didn't back down from those comments:

Farnsworth Not Long for Pinstripes
Finally, the first salvo across The Rocket's bow. Kyle Farnsoworth is taking on Roger Clemens and his ridiculous contract. The question is, will anyone care?
Yankees Better at Talking than Actually Playing
The Yankees continue to lose and currently they sit 9 1/2 games behind the surging Red Sox, but apparently that hasn't stopped them from having plenty of free time to shoot out some interesting quotes to the media.
Return of Roger
A lot of people have been talking about the return of Roger Clemens and how he doesn't have to be around when he's not pitching. The way I see it, if he's not the best pitcher of all time he's certainly one of the best so if anyone has earned the role of part time guy he's done it. I can see how some of his teammates wouldn't like it. They have some big time...
Farnsworth has a point, but ...
I guess it doesn't surprise me completely that someone on the New York Yankees has spoken out against the Roger Clemens 'family plan,' which gives him the right to come and go as he pleases between starts. It surprises me that the criticism comes from Kyle Farnsworth, who would be better served by keeping his mouth shut and getting hitters out.
Yankees are at a crossroads
The New York Yankees seem to have their pitching straightened out. Chien Ming-Wang and Mike Mussina are back from injuries. Matt DeSalvo and Darrell Rasner look capable. Roger Clemens will arrive soon, and Phil Hughes will be healthy again in a few weeks.
The Yankees, though, seem to have another problem. And I'm not referring to the fact that they are under .500 (17-19) and...
Giambi: The Juice Was No Use
The Hall-of-Fame would disagree, Jason. Not to mention the rest of America.
Giambi Wants Apology, MLB Listening?
Jason Giambi came out and said that Major League Baseball needs to apologize to the American public for the current steroid problem.
"Steroids and all of that was a part of history. But it was a topic that everybody wanted to avoid. Nobody wanted to talk about it," said Giambi who admitted in 2003 that he had used performance inhancers in his career.
In an interesting...
Joe Girardi: New Manager of The Yankees?
Each time talk heats up about Joe Torre being fired, the name that most comes up as a replacement is Joe Girardi's. It won't happen:
Abreu can't shake worst slump of career
Bobby Abreu has been an All-Star two of the last three seasons. He has hit 206 home runs in his career and is closing in on 1,000 RBI. The Yankees will pay him $15 million this season, usually to hit third.
Yet on four occasions in the last two weeks, Abreu has stood at the plate, watched a pitch come in and squared to bunt.
"Bunt" is the dirtiest four-letter word...
Subway Showdown
The Yanks limp into Shea Stadium tonight and the rival Mets could go a long way towards burying the Bombers here in May. Will they get it done? Are the Amazin's poised to take back the city? If you'll recall, in the 1980s, no one in New York gave a hoot about the team from the Bronx. Most likely it's too early for all of this talk, but it's fun nonetheless.
Can Hicks Do this?
The Rangers and Hicks still are paying a lot of Arod's salary for the remainder of his contract. With Arod having the opportunity to buy out his contract at the conclusion of the season, wouldn't it behoove Hicks to offer up Arod a certain percentage of what they owe him so he breaks the contract? Is that legal? Any lawyers in the house?
Eddie Moneys Bet: Subway Series is Back, Why Not Have Jared Throw Out the First Pitch?
Plenty of great baseball action today as interleague play is back. Today I look at game 2 in the "Subway Series" and the rematch of last falls World Series match-up. Last time out on Thursday I went 3-1, cutting my previous few days losing streak down before it could pick up steam. Now we are trucking along in a positive direction, you'd be wise to get on the train...
