Aaron Cook COL @ Jamie Moyer PHI
After six dynamite starts from Aaron Cook, we got back to back ten hit disastrous outings from the Rockies pitcher. I can forgive the crushing at the hands of the D-Backs, they're an amazing team this season. But the Giants? Aaron, what the heck is wrong with you? Look for him to bounce back against Philly this week, especially since opposing pitcher Jamie Moyer has never beaten the Rockies at any point of his career. Cook is a good innings eating pitcher and seems to finally be in the midst of his breakout season that has been expected of him for the past three seasons.
Ben Sheets MIL @ Jason Bergmann WAS
Seven scoreless innings and the goddamn Nationals can't score one run for poor Jason Bergmann. Bergmann should be celebrating back to back wins right now, and any pre-season predictions about the Nationals being an improved team this season are out the window. Take a shot on Bergmann in deeper leagues anyway, he is pitching well despite the fact that he gets nothing for it. The Brewers aren't getting much done either and karma owes Jason Bergmann a win.
