It's been no surprise to those of us watching the games that Coco has been recovering of late from a slower than slow start to the season. And I'll admit, my confidence in him waned and hit an all time low in mid-April where he stood with a .111 batting average, .179 OBP, and .167 slugging percentage. I just didn't see how he could pull it together. He seemed defeated and joyless. I'll also admit, I wanted to like him. I wanted a reason to root for Coco. There was such promise coming into last season and I didn't want to see that go to waste.

Pavano Exam Reveals No Heart, Guts
This guy is a joke. Obviously he'll opt for the surgery, and why not? he wants out of new york as much as the fans want him out. Naturally he won't gut it out as Pettitte has done his entire career.
Igawa Sent To Minors
Igawa optioned to Class-A??? This guy stinks, but who goes from the majors straight down to Class-A unless they're injured? As far as I know, there's no injury at play here. Yanks can crow all they want about Clemens - this is embarrassing.

New York's Cutest Couple
I'm not sure when Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte decided to join each other at the hip, but it's kind of touching when two men just know they were meant to be together and work so hard to reunite.
The Old Fart Is Back For the Price of a Small Country
I thought Roger Clemens wanted to go to a contender. When you have more money than you know what to do with, what's the difference between a million or two per month? He could have gone to Boston to end his career where it started. He'd make that starting five the best in baseball. They have a legitimate shot to win the World Series.
ROGER CLEMENS' CORPSE TO JOIN YANKEES
From the AP: When the New York Yankees reanimated Roger Clemens' desiccated corpse during the seventh inning stretch of yesterday's game, no one expected that corpse to join the starting rotation. But that's just what happened. In front of 52,345...
