Ah, beer and running. it's the elixir of the legendary hash house harriers. It's the reward for going the extra mile. It's the light to which the moths flock–especially when it's free. The 2,400 runners at April's Race-to-Robie Creek Half-Marathon in Idaho, for example, drain 30 kegs at the postrace party. The majority of the 15,000 participants at Seattle's St. Patrick's Day Dash come for the beer as much as the 3.5-mile race.
