Fausto Carmona answered a lot of question on Wednesday night, as he electrified the crowd at Progressive Field in Cleveland. Carmona went 7 innings, giving up only 4 hits, 1 run and 4 K's in the Indians' 7-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
The only real blemish in this outing for the Indians ace-in-waiting were his 4 walks. If you were to ask the White Sox hitters, however, I doubt they'd remember much about the walks. Carmona really had the sinker working, forcing 16 out of 21 ground outs, including three double play balls. It was typical Carmona.
