After spending a week at Colorado Springs, you’ll be called up to the Rockies big league roster on September 1st.
There is no Designated Hitter in the National League, but that doesn’t mean you’ll need to buy a new glove. Just bring batting gloves, your helmet size, as many pieces of lumber as you think you’ll need and, most importantly, a clean urine sample.
Your role will be late inning pinch-hitting specialist when the Rockies need a quick strike.
Chances are the opposing manager will counter the move with a left-handed reliever or with his stud right-handed closer. That is fine. Just close your eyes and swing really hard three times.
