Matt Cain is currently amongst the front runners for the Cy Young. The combination of Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain is the singular reason the Giants are tied for the wild card. No to the F.A.C.T. that Joba, should be a Starter, he is & has the mentality of a SetUpMan or Closer, Short term Anger that has to come out, to simplly slow that down and make him do what His Body,Mind & Sprit Tell him NOT ToBe is just Wacked. However it's NOT my $$$ M.O.N.E.Y. $$$

Wright Taking The Right Precautions

Let’s rewind back to Saturday August 15th, 2009. It was a warm, sunny afternoon at Citi Field. The Mets and Giants were in the midst of a pitcher’s duel between two of the best in the game in Johan Santana and Matt Cain. All was going as planned, and both pitchers were in the midst of [...]

Milwaukee Brewers and San Francisco Giants: Similar but Different Franchises

A few days ago I was reading a recent edition of Sports Illustrated magazine and there was a review of the San Francisco Giants and their ace pitchers Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum. The main message, outside of stating the obvious fact that Cain and Lincecum are likely the best one-two pitching combo in baseball, was that the Giants can afford being flaky at the plate because they...

Once the new Rawlings S100 helmet is inevitably adopted by suspicious Major League Baseball players, we're going to point to today as one of the major turning points. As announced earlier this morning, every minor league team will be required to wear S100s for the 2010 season. The helmets contain thicker cushioning and Rawlings says they have been engineered to withstand the force...

When David Wright is activated from the Disabled List tomorrow, he should already have in his possession the new batting helmet from Rawlings that will protect him from another concussion. Rawlings is sending one to Colorado for him to use and it should be available before tomorrow night's game, but even if it is not, Wright will be in there to face any possible batter&...
