Todd Helton, who had been rumored to be close to joining the 2007 Red Sox, will be returning to Coors Field for the upcoming season as a Rockie. A collective sigh from Yankee fans could be heard in the tri-state area.

That would have been a horrible move on the Rockies part. With a team that sucks, there is no way they could trade away the face of their organization.
