    Santana for one more year isn't worth nearly as much as Reyes is. Jose is locked up for a number of years. I hope that's not really being dangled.

    Trading Reyes sounds like typical New York hysteria. Anyone remember Scott Kazmir? I bet he would have looked great in their rotation this year.

      Yeah, Kazmir would have been great. He could have been the third incredibly inconsistent pitcher along with Maine and Perez. That and he is usually good for 10 missed starts due to injury. It was an awful trade, but Kazmir is not as good as everyone thinks he is.

    Milledge will be packaged with a young pitcher to get someone. Probably not Santana, but Humber/Pelfrey and Milledge for a pretty good player.

    They wouldn't have to trade Reyes to get Santana. One of the Santana rumors coming out of Ny- John Maine or Oliver Perez, Lastings Milledge or Carlos Gomez and Phillip Humber or Mike Pelfrey for Santana. The Twins will be losing Santana in a year and would have to think long and hard about that package.
