Over at Viva el Birdos, some chump wrote a diary about how the Cubs are going to lose 90 to 100 games every year from 2010 to 2015 yesterday. Some people from here went over there and were initially quite decent. lboros shut the comments down in the thread and said the author's fan post was quite thoughtful.
Was it? What I consider thoughtful and what he considers thoughtful...

Using the ZIPs in-season projection tool, I calculated the projections for the 5 Cubs starters for the rest of the year. Rich Harden's stats are projected as a Cub. Since Jason Marquis remains in the rotation for the time being, I only calculated his projection and not Sean Marshall's.
Some pretty good numbers below. Take a look at Harden's numbers. Ridiculous...

This just in minutes ago: the Chicago Cubs have acquired Rich Harden from the A's. Just days after the Brewers made news with the acquisition of (CC) C. C. Sabathia, today the Cubs have landed a top pitcher of their own in Rich Harden and Chad Gaudin for Sean Gallagher, Matt Murton, Eric Patterson, and a minor leaguer Josh Donaldson.
The only surprise in this one for the Cubs...

Tonight was one of Zambrano's better starts in some time. He held a Reds team that loves to hit against Zambrano to just one hit in 8 innings of work (a home run by Dunn, his 7th off Zambrano in their careers). He struck out 5 and walked none.
