TEAMS: Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers
Fine, football in Minnesota got Monday night, but the game with far more immediate importance is tonight's contest between the Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers to determine the winner of the American League Central. In the End, There Can Be Only One
It has become something of a tradition in Twins Territory, a 163rd game to determine the American League Central division title.
A year ago, Minnesota traveled to Comiskey and lost a 1-0 heart-breaker to the White Sox in a one-game playoff, but this year, the Twins play host to the Detroit Tigers in what may be the final game ever played under the Teflon Confines.
