PLAYERS: Russell Branyan
Jack Zduriencik's first big-league free agent signing is apparently Russell Branyan. Branyan, 33 this month, hit .250/.342/.583 in a platoon type role for Milwaukee last season, and is a strong bet to at least hit for power versus right-handed pitching.
