  • Affeldt was a strong signing for the Reds. Adding another pitcher always helps, but adding a lefty especially helps. He can be the lone lefty in the rotation or if that doesn't work out he can still be a strong reliever which the Reds also need and help Weathers, Burton, and crew lead up to Cordero.
