Pedro threw off the mound for the first time since cutting his season short nearly 9 months ago. According to Newsday, he threw 38 pitches and felt great.
This guy is going to be a monster for the Mets in the 2nd half. I can just feel it.

In today's paper, Newsday catches up with aspiring rap mogul L Millz a.k.a. DA Edge a.k.a. Lastings Milledge, who angered his Met bosses last month with the release of a profanity-laden rap song.

Echoing what we all already knew, Mark Hale of the New York Post cites an MLB team executive today who states that should the Chicago Cubs put Carlos Zambrano on the trading block prior to the July 31st deadline, the Mets would be "heavily involved."
