  • He should've never left. Welcome home Ken Griffey Jr.
  • awesome news.
  • Hell yea! Back where he belongs
  • I aint mad at you Ken!!! ALF TIME
  • I don't see this going well at all, but those seven games Griffey plays before he hits the DL should be fun.
  • Ken Griffey Jr. back to Seattle? yeah that makes me happy
  • Griffey a Mariner again.......brings a tear to my eye!!! FINALLY!!! Lets just hope he stays together for a few more years before his body shuts down on him. I can't wait ti see him back in a Seattle uniform!!!
  • It's Good to see Ken Griffey Jr. Head back to the team that gave him his first shot in the Majors,he is still a class act..Good Luck and Stay Healthy..
  • Although it'll be good to see him in a Mariner's uniform again, I really don't see what the big deal is. Seattle is going nowhere this season and Griffrey's best days are behind him. The only positive I see from this is attendance rising for Seattle. Personally, I wish Junior had gone to New York to DH despite his vow to never play for the Yankees. I think that's the best place for him to potentially get a ring. He's a great player and he's more than deserving of a championship. Good Luck Griff!
  • he could hit .200 and i'd still be glad to have him back.
  • It will be nice to see The Kid take his final swings as a Mariner. Glad this worked out for him personally.

The (Near) Return Of Seattle’s Prodigal Son

Damnit, Bob Wolcott, go easy! You?re hurting him! So, yeah, Ken Griffey Jr. appears close to returning to the Mariners and yes, despite the fact that he?s clearly a shell of his former self, I approve. Of course, I would have preferred to see other players donning the whatever-that-shade-of-blue-in-the-M?s-uniform is called, but I guess I?ll have [...]

Seattle and Junior Close In on Reunion

As a kid growing up watching and playing baseball, there's no question that my favorite player (non-White Sox division) in the sport was Ken Griffey Jr. I emulated his batting stance for a while, I started wearing my hat backwards during practice, and I tried to get every Griffey baseball card ...
