Jacoby Ellsbury was honored by his hometown of Madras, OR and the local Native American community with a parade and ceremony in his honor on Saturday. Here's lots of pictures and video of all the festivities.

Red Sox and Lowell have agreed to the parameters of a three-year contract with an annual worth of "more than $12 (million) but less than $13 (million)" according to a source familiar with the negotiations.
The deal, which won't be finalized until tomorrow, was brokered by the Sox and Lowell's agents

It wouldn't surprise me to see him signed with the Sox by the end of the week, I just don't think there is a lot interest for him. I think they realize Fenway is the perfect park for him and his numbers just might not be so good elsewheer.

The ownership group has done a great job adding to the park every year making it a better place to see a game than it was before. Nice to see them adding more seats, they may cost a boat load but it's nice to see your money being used for the right reasons.
Yesterday, one of the ugly boxcar-like pods that have housed fans since the 1999 All-Star Game was lifted off its perch...
