Angels' Saunders and Santana Are AL's Winningest Duo
There were a lot of pitching duo's getting a lot of hype coming into the season. In the American League alone, we were prepping for Sabathia-Carmona, Bedard-Hernandez, and Beckett-Matsuzaka. But...Saunders and Santana???
Right now, Saunders (6-0) and Santana (5-0) combine for an AL-leading 11 wins, tied with Arizona's Brandon Webb (7-0) and Dan Haren (4-1) for all of baseball's leading mark. Tonight, Ervin Santana will be eyeing his 6th win, and to give him and Saunders a Major League-leading 12 wins, when he squares off against Brett Tomko and the Kansas City Royals.
