Now that we've looked at how my original regular season predictions fared this year, it's time to take a shot at prognosticating the results of the 2009 postseason. ALDS: Yankees over Twins in 4 ALDS: Angels over Red Sox in 5 NLDS: Rockies over Phillies in 4 NLDS: Cardinals over Dodgers in 5 The Twins are the hottest team in baseball right now but also have the unenviable task of quickly turning around after an extra inning defeat and facing the team with the best record in baseball. I think the Twinkies will steal one game in Minnesota but the Yanks take it in four games... The Red Sox have historically had the Angels' number in the postseason but this could be the year that ends. Either way it goes down to the wire... The Phillies have a whole bunch of question marks, like with their closing situation and Cliff Lee... The Dodgers stumbled into the postseason, struggling down the stretch run.
