David Samson had the Marlins dugout laughing as they took batting practice Monday. He took a pinch of tobacco from a can of Skoal belonging to Hanley Ramirez and brazenly placed it inside his mouth. The president of Marlins doesn't dip, but decided to give it a try to prove his solidarity to the club as it prepared to face the Atlanta Braves in an important series.

I'm really hoping the Braves can get themselves into the playoffs this season. I refuse to get too excited about it because it is September and they do have some more work to do to get there but I mean hey, it's manageable. Currently, they are 3 games out of the wild card spot and are in the middle of playing a series with the Marlins. They have split the season series...
