Martin back in the mix...

At the start of spring training, Tom Martin was the leading candidate to become the Mets second LOOGY, but Martin was released due to injuries. First Martin strained his calf early in spring training and then fell down the stairs, at home, breaking his non-pitching wrist. It appears that Martin is healthy enough to resume pitching and the Mets are still looking for a more permanent solution in the pen, from the left side of the mound....The Mets have signed catcher Javier Valentin, Jose's brother, and lefthander Tom Martin and are expected to assign both to Triple-A Buffalo. source Daily News
