According to Ken Davidoff of Newsday, The Mets might opt to trade for Bobby Jenks instead of signing Francisco Rodriguez or Brian Fuentes. The Mets like Jenks' stuff better, while K-Rod's velocity has gone down and it worries the Mets.     better bang for the buck if you ask me. frankie won't be putting up numbers like this last season. angels starting pitching handed the ball off to him in very good positions. i'd rather have krod on the bump, but the money saved could go towards another position, maybe even a setup guy.

    Better move to get Jenks. K-Rod was leaking oil at the end of the season; the streak does not look repeatable for him. Although he is a great closer and pulled off an amazing record, I don't think he can do it again plus he's blown a few saves and rallying is rather prevalent in the NL East, IMO.
