The Dodgers and Doug Mientkiewicz have agreed to a minor league deal with an invitation to big league camp. Mientkiewicz is a .271 career hitter with 66 career homeruns. His best year came in 2001 with the Twins when he hit .306 with 15 HR in 151 games. For now, he will compete for bench role on the Dodgers bench.?In 2008, Mientkiewicz hit .277 with 2 HR in 125 games for the Pirates.
