Could the all-star third baseman be swapping red sox for red pinstripes?
2 Comments:
  • I'd love to see a solid power hitting, gold glove canidate, playing third for the Phillies next year. The problem is that they have to pay Ryan Howard this off season, which doesn't leave much money for any free agents besides pitching.
  • I don't like the fact that it would be a longer deal though. Lowell loves hitting at CBP, and I'm ready for the Nunez, Helms, and Dobbs platoon to come to and end.

No. Never once this season did I believe they could win the division or the wildcard. Nor did I...

Lowell Too Pricey ?

The Boston Globe ran an article saying Mike Lowell is too costly for them to re-sign. Absolutely Absurd. To pay a worthless bucket o' crap like JD Drew a huge amount for no production and only average fielding, then to say Lowell is too costly. He leads the team in average, rbi's and is still stellar defensively despite having an off year. If you move Youlk back to third after sucha...
