The Padres and Chad Gaudin have agreed to a minor league deal, the Padres team website is reporting. The Padres will pay him 400,000 of his 2 million dollar deal this season, so it is a pretty good deal for them. He'll compete for a spot in the bullpen.This story was approved by MLB Rumors.

According to a report from MLB.com, the Padres inked Chad Gaudin to a minor league contract on Saturday. Gaudin will be in San Diego on Sunday to work out for the Padres.
