Non Roster Invitee: John Gall
Signing Luis Gonzalez was more then likely the final straw in terms of Gall's chances of seeing any playing time with the Marlins this year. He's behind incumbents Josh Willingham and Jeremy Hermida in addition to new comer Carlos Maybin and Gonzalez. Cody Ross figures to be the fifth outfielder and Alejandro De Aza likely ranks ahead of Gall on the organizations depth chart.
He doesn't figure to be much more then a Triple-A basher the next few years. In little more then three stints in the majors over three years Gall has played in 33 games amassing 2 home runs and 11 RBI with a .245 average.
