Last week, news broke that several teams had made an offer to left handed relief pitcher Will Ohman. Today, Jerry Crasnick at ESPN.com reports identifies three of those teams as the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, and Florida Marlins. However, Ohman is still talking with several other clubs, including the Mets and Phillies, presumably so he can pitch for a contender. Ohman's agent Page Odle told Crasnick there is no timetable right now.Most Mets fans seem to think the Mets need another lefty out of the bullpen. Pedro Feliciano is the Mets lone south paw, and has good numbers against lefties, but over the course of 162 games, you'd think there would be situations where he needs a break or can't pitch. The Mets were rumored to be one of the teams to originally make an offer to the former Brave, but that was determined to be false.
