Who would threaten a pregnant women? If she is carrying Jonathan Papelbon's baby and is his wife, a small minority of Yankee fans would. Or, at the very least, they would create a situation that makes her feel threatened. That's what happened during MLB's All-Star parade down the New York streets. Now, we have video of some of the remarks directed at the couple. For some crazy reason, I bet they heard worse.

Cinco Ocho sounding like Ocho Cinco
OK folks. At what point do we just say "It's the ____ing Devil Rays" and move on? They play in a toilet bowl in front of 10,000 fans on a good night. Their manager wears designer glasses and is cut from the same cloth as Mike "I invented Baseball" Scioscia. Sure, they have nice young players. But why are the Sox, in particular all-star closer and future "Dancing with the Stars...

Terrell Owens Sounds Thrilled to be in Buffalo … Not
Forgive me for that lame reference — I just saw Wayne’s World the other day for the first time in forever. Much like Jonathan Papelbon, one of the nice things about Terrell Owens is that he’s accessible to the media for the most part. He did a station in Buffalo the favor of [...]
Fantasy Baseball Preview - Sleepers
I was going to bust out my RP preview, but then I figured why waste your time. Some people like to take the top tier guys like Jonathan Papelbon and Joe Nathan early, while others like to wait and grab the Mike Gonzalezs and Trevor Hoffmans much later on. Either way, there's no point in writing about them, as you know what you're getting when you take a closer. Instead,...

Papelbon Makes A Papelboner
So, Jonathan Papelbon says Manny was a “cancer” in the Red Sox clubhouse. He’s certainly entitled to his opinion, and by most accounts, he’s correct.
But, maybe he could have chosen a better way to express himself, especially considering his teammate Jon Lester dealt with an actual cancer just a couple of years ago.
Just a thought.
