Phillies 0-2 vs. Umpires

The phillies have lost 2 games due to retarded umpires. The first one was when jose reyes was thrown out at the plate in the 12th and they called him safe. Today, they lost to the cubs because of a foul ball off of the bat of Mark Derosa being called a home run. Today, I am strongly in favor of replay in baseball. It is completely unfair to lose games to umpires.

That was such BS. How many times did they show the replay on the screen at CBP and the umps refused to look at it and overturn the call? If they friggin overrule it, Lights out Lidge closes it and we win 5-4 and sweep the Cubs. Horrible call, MLB needs the replay.

amen

CAN WE SAY "REPLAY" Phils pen could have Pitched better .Bright spots in Pen is Chad Durbin.

Can't the head umpire reverse the call? I was in left field and saw it UP CLOSE!!What BS!!!
Replay should be brought back for HR calls only.

Yea instant replay would be nice for plays like that...even though Stevie Wonder coulda saw that was foul! As for the Reyes play...it was bang-bang and a judgement call, had that been J-Roll...we would be saying he was safe. Let the Reyes play go, even these so called "replays" that have been posted are inconclusive. That call wasn't the umps fault IF he was wrong, the foul ball was. That guy should be suspended for being a dumbass

This lineup wasn't supposed to have us losing games by one run. That was the bullpen's job.Instead we can't manufacture runs late in games. We didn't lose these two games because of the unbelievably crappy calls, we lost because no one could get a hit when it mattered and EVERYONE is fielding at a subpar level.

when have we been able to manufacture runs? we've lived and died by the long ball in recent years and not having J Roll in the lineup makes that even tougher. Oh Booger...how well is Feliz progressing on that 20 hr mark? haha

Wait a minute! That was a foul ball! It doesn't count! Yeah, I have to admit I'm digging Pedro Feliz at the moment. But I do think we can play small ball.Hamels came in to pinch bunt against the Mets and the scheme would have been succesful if not for the Bruntlett bomb exploding all over Manuel's face. They try man, that was what made Bourn a nice player here.We had three great base stealers. But whatever, so hit a damn home run in the tenth then, Jenkins.Werth? Anyone?
