Eli's MLB Rumors:
The Phillies have parted ways with outfielder Geoff Jenkins, FOXSports.com is reporting. Jenkins, 31, hit .246 with 9 HR in 115 games last season, and is hitting .250 with 1 HR in 44 at-bats this spring. Releasing Jenkins clears up some space in the outfield for the Phillies, who will go with Matt Stairs as their reserve outfielder. This story was approved by MLB Rumors.
