Figueroa's eyebrows.... did you draw them on with a sharpie?I saw an article like this in the Inky.Of course it pissed me off,as most Phillies news does. However, most of these guys stunk when they left here.Padilla,Jones,Franklin,Nelson Eyebrows, these guys were awful for us.Millwood, that disappointing fatass broke a sweat climbing up the pitcher's mound.Wolf was healthy NEVER!!! These are not pitchers I'm disappointed to see gone. Add Lieber to the consistently hurt and horrible list.Gavin Floyd will implode, give him time. The names that bother me are Lohse, Germano, and Silva, mostly because they are young starters.Don't know who Lopez or the Millers are.And Billy Wagner can go FU** himself.

Oh Geoff Geary. He should never have been signed because he spells Jeff "Geoff".

Maybe it's Philly that makes pitchers pitch like a flaming bag of poop?

That's very possible. The thing is, usually someone else puts the flaming bag on your doorstep.Often we see the Phillies dropping the bag in front of their own house, stomping on it, then acting suprised when it's full of sh*t. Joe Table, perfect example.

Oh Joe Table, he was clutch...for the other team.

All I know for sure is that a month ago I figured the pitching would be a disaster. Turns out, we're not that bad. If we'd run on all cylinders the team would be unstoppable right now.But since this is the Phillies something has to be out of synch. My guess is that when the bats come around and the fielding improves then the pitching will fall apart and this list will seem even more tragic.

the offense has shown a few flashes of what is should be (that 10-2 drubbing of houston). however, with ryan howard batting .186 on the season, and eric bruntlett (also .186...damn, what's worse, his hitting or his fielding?) replacing jimmy rollins, the offense can't support our pitching. as much as i hate to say it, it looks like our phightins will be chasing the mets until A- howard wakes up, B- rollins comes back, C- victorino comes back.

What about D- all of the above?
