Red Sox would be a great place for Young

Whatever it takes to beat the yankees!

Michael Young would be a horrible choice. He is a negative fielder, has zero range and is 32 with a 5 year contract for 62 million left. Lowrie would be the easy choice over Young. This is why the Rangers want him at 3B. His hitting isn't good enough for third though.

The Michael Young Post

Jim Ed Rice FINALLY entered the Hall of Fame today on his 15th and last try. Rice, after narrowly missing the 75% needed last year, finally eclipsed that mark with 76.4%. Rice was the AL MVP in 1978 hitting .315, 46 HRs and 215 hits and 139 RBIs.Also voted in was Rickey Henderson. He somehow managed only to get only a little under 95% of the ballot, which means a total of 28 people...
Red Sox Signing Like It's 2003
The contracts that have been cranked out of Yawkey Way during the last week have me thinking back to when we had roughly seven different first basement, 2 third basemen, closer by committee, Nomar, and a partridge in a pear tree. Rocco Baldelli, John Smoltz, Brad Penny, Mark Kotsay and now Takashi Saito have all taken turns signing one year deals for "eh" money. How do...
