Outfielder Willy Taveras has agreed to a two year deal to play for the Cincinnati Reds. Taveras is coming off a down year with the Rockies where he hit only .251. Yet, in 2007, Taveras hit for an impressive .320 batting average. Despite the low batting average, Taveras stole 68 bases. This is a good move for the Reds as they filled their void at the top of the lineup and picked up one of the game's best base stealers.
