I have to say, intentional or not, I'm with Derek Lee on this one. Anytime you nearly get blasted in the face with a pitch, I think it's fair game to charge the mound. That being said, what a sorry attempt at a punch from both Lee and Young. They both whiffed pretty bad; maybe they'd be better off going for the Ric Flair chop on each other.

Well it's been a week later since the draft precluded. The Cubs have already been successful in signing several midround players and will be very active in the coming week. As the Boise Hawks (Short Season A) prepare to start their season, and have quite a few holes to fill. Talks with first rounder Josh Vitters are progressing slowly but surely. There is not too much difference...

The punishments have been handed out by the league office and Derrek Lee and Chris Young both got 5 games for swinging like girls. Imagine if they would have connected. What they would have gotten then?
