how about the old saying..."Its better to be pissed off than pissed on"? Wonder which way Giles went? If it was me I'd fill Gregs shoes with a fresh load of shit..
It's going to be an interesting season. We found out Greg Maddux is a bit of a closet nutjob. But compared to Brian and Marcus Giles, Maddux might be pretty damn normal. Some people would like to be a fly on the wall in certain places. If I was a fly in San Diego's locker room, I'd probably find the nearest ceiling fan.

I'd just like to relay my experience reading this article... after following a few links I learned that peeing on your feet is a good way to get rid of athlete's foot. I love blogs. Now, I'm off to home remedy myself...

My Yardbarker Debut
Hey Yardbarkers,
It feels good to finally have this blog up and running. I would have started a few days ago, but I haven't been able to get to my computer. I just bought a house in Arizona, where I'm at now, and there was a flood in the room where I usually keep the computer. They had to knock down two walls and replace the carpet in the downstairs rooms of my new house...
David Wells' 'Tasty' Safari Treat
David Wells went Africa this off-season, and all he did was hunt and eat exotic animals. If this isn't a man of the people, I don't know who is! With Maddux peeing on rookies, and now this, the Padres are really the team to watch!
King for a Day: the Cubs' One-Time Game #1 Starters
As noted here and everywhere else yesterday, Lou Piniella has decided to give Carlos Zambrano the Opening Day assignment at Houston. It will be the fifth time Zambrano has had the honor; the Cubs have gone 2-2 in Z's previous Opening Day outings.
Fergie Jenkins started seven openers for the Cubs, while Rick Sutcliffe started five, and Rick Reuschel, four. The real fun in...
Carlos Lee (OF-HOU)
Carlos Lee hit a career milestone when he homered off of Greg Maddux; 1,500 career hits.

The Tao of Fred McGriff - Day 9
This afternoon I sat by the side of the road, waiting for the crosstown bus. I sat there for what seemed like forever, but was probably no longer than 20 minutes. I finally got so impatient that I crouched next to the bus stop sign, counting the seconds between a car appearing around the bend and it passing me. I also got to thinking... If I can't hardly wait 20 minutes for the...
A Little Love for Kelly Holcomb?
I know that he?s not John Lynch or Greg Maddux, but I have one specific memory of Holcomb. I?ll let Rotoworld
Former Browns QB Kelly Holcomb has officially retired from the
The journeyman may be best remembered for the frenzied 2003 Wild Card game where he shredded the Steelers ...
Lusterless Dodgers Drop Another to Braves
Jeff Bennett and Chuck James shut the Dodgers down for the second day in succession. Although those names don't resonate like Greg Maddux and Tom Glavin, the results are the same. The young two pitchers, pressed into service because of injuries to the Braves staff, limited the Dodgers to a single run...
The All-Time Greatest Cubs Team
I believe I heard in the promo that on today's 30 Clubs in 30 Days show on MLB Network that covers the Chicago Cubs that they're going to announce their all-time greatest Cubs team. That seems pretty easy for the most part and I'm not sure of their criteria, but let's see if we can guess.
