San Diego battery had no luck last night
Albert Pujols had a bad 10 minutes last night. But not as bad as the Padres pitcher and catcher combination of Chris Young and Josh Bard. Pujols hit a ball that hit Young in between the eyes, causing a large gash and heavy bleeding. Two plays later, a Troy Glaus single caused a play at the plate in which Albert slid right into Bard's ankle bending it in a direction it naturally shouldn't go.
