Sean Casey Starts His Chase To Break Barry Bonds Single Season Homerun Record
Detroit Tigers' first baseman Sean Casey has earned my respect with how he's going to try and chase down Bonds' single season mark. Casey hit his first homer of the 2007 campaign yesterday against the Washington Nationals, officially starting his pursuit of the record a mere 70 games into the season. While cheaters like McSteroid and Bonds lowered the degree of difficulty to break the single season home run record by using performance enhancing drugs, Sean Casey upped the difficulty level in his pursuit by deciding to start his chase almost half-way through the season.
