WEEI's Rob Bradford confirmed tonight that former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brad Penny has signed a one-year deal with the Red Sox. The contract calls for a base salary of $5 million and could reach $8 million if Penny hits certain incentives. The news confirms an earlier report by Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal.
