This week has seen lots of rumblings around baseball about where certain players will end up and who will end up parting with prospects for a boost down the stretch. So here's what we've got for you in this installment. Teixeira will move, but to where? The Dallas Morning News is reporting that despite his youth and talent, the Rangers are willing to part with Mark Teixeira for the right price. He's a guy who could definitely help a contender down the stretch, but surprisingly there haven't been any appealing offers so far. Teixeira can become a free agent after the 2008 season and could probably haul in some serious cash at that point. If the Rangers don't find a great deal this season, they could just wait to move him until next year's deadline. Teams interested in the 27-year-old slugger will likely include the Yankees, Mariners, Dodgers, Angels and Braves. I think he'll be tough to move because of his impending free agency. The Dodgers have the prospects to make the move, as do the Angels, but I don't think either team will make a major push for him. The Yankees are always in the mix when it comes to the deadline so they are a possibility, so are the Mariners, but they owe far too much to Adrian Beltre and Richie Sexson to get another corner infielder.

They'd probably get more this season for him than next. He's pretty much made it known that he dislikes the organization as well. I think we could see a repeat of the type of move the Yankees made last year for Abreu. Wait until the last minute than bombard Texas with middle level prospects.

The last thing the dodgers need is Mark Texiera, they have the offense and defense but they lack in picthing.
